At Hartley's we pride ourselves on the fact that we are owned and run by a local Horsforth chap!
We therefore know a thing or two about the history of the well established shop, local people and the community.
We are not part of a 'chain' or a franchise so have the skill, knowledge and service to provide you with great Yorkshire Fish and Chips without any silly offers or incentives - we love what we do and care what you get when you come and see us.
We sell only the finest MSC certified Haddock when available - (none of your other cheaper alternatives) all cooked fresh to order.
We also let you know on our 'InfoBoards' which spuds we are peeling and chipping for your potatoes on a daily basis.
We are into the end of the current potato season, therefore some potatoes, even though we strive to find the best, can cook a little darker than normal - great taste, but maybe not as light as your used to - New potato season begins in June, weather permitting.
